Who we are

TheoryPass is operated by Sixth Element. We help English-speaking expats in Spain prepare for the DGT theory driving exam. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@theorypass.app.

What data we collect

• Account data: your email address and name, provided when you create an account.
• Usage data: your answers to practice questions, accuracy per topic, streak, exam date, and pass probability score.
• Purchase data: if you subscribe to TheoryPass Pro, payment is processed by Apple. We do not store your payment details.

How we use your data

• To provide the app and personalise your study experience.
• To calculate your pass probability and track your progress.
• To send you account-related communications (e.g. password reset).
• We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted in the EU. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@theorypass.app.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple App Store — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI-powered explanations (no personal data is sent)

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at support@theorypass.app. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

TheoryPass is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email.

Acceptance of terms

By using TheoryPass, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. TheoryPass is operated by Sixth Element.

What TheoryPass provides

TheoryPass is an exam preparation app with 1,000+ real DGT questions for the Spanish theory driving test. It is designed to help you study, but we cannot guarantee you will pass your exam. Results depend on your effort and preparation.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You must be 18 or older to use TheoryPass.

Subscriptions and payments

• TheoryPass Pro is available as a monthly (€4.99/month) or annual (€24.99/year) subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• We do not offer refunds except where required by law.

Free tier limits

Free users may take up to 3 tests per day and use the AI instructor up to 5 times. These limits may change. Premium subscribers have unlimited access.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or its content.
• Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to circumvent the free tier limits.

Intellectual property

All content in TheoryPass — including questions, explanations, study cards, and design — is owned by Sixth Element or licensed for use in the app. You may not copy or redistribute this content.

Disclaimer

TheoryPass is provided "as is". We make no warranties about the accuracy of questions or the likelihood of passing your exam. We are not affiliated with the DGT or the Spanish government.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sixth Element shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TheoryPass.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Spain.
